Unser Jaffry’s experience reflects a strong blend of scientific research, clinical exposure, and innovation within the healthcare space. He currently works as a Research Technician at Harvard Medical School and Massachusetts General Hospital, where he focuses on cancer immunology and translational research aimed at understanding immune mechanisms for early tumor prevention and advancing new therapies. His work also extends to academic contributions, including delivering lectures on emerging immunotherapy approaches. He further expanded his research expertise through the Harvard–MIT HST BioOptics Summer Institute, working on advanced diagnostic technologies such as nanoparticle-enabled cell profiling. Earlier experiences include research roles at Michigan State University, where he explored cardiovascular and neuroimmune mechanisms, and a public health research internship with Cleveland Clinic focused on diabetes-related outcomes. In addition to research, Unser brings significant clinical trial experience from his role as a Clinical Research Coordinator, managing data for over 1,000 patients and ensuring regulatory compliance. He also contributes to innovation in the field as a founding member of a clinical research startup and as a consultant for the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.
